About Us
We’re originally from a small, low population ranch in Michoacán, Mexico. El Maguey is a familiar restaurant that began as a dream, and worked into reality- without the adequate experience- but with much passion to succeed, thanks to strength, sacrifice and dedication.
But more than anything- our gratitude is to God- for without Him, we wouldn’t be here giving you the best of ourselves. We started with the name, Burrito Express, in 2005- with a family of three that grew to five.
In 2006, we became El Maguey, and since then we continue to serve from the heart with the support of our wonderful customers who have been with us through good times and tough times. But thank goodness for those tough times because they’ve made us better, and without them- we wouldn’t be as strong.
We’ve always strived to give you all an authentic, home-style feeling, because our house is your house. And just like home cooking, everything is prepared fresh daily with plenty of flavor. And all of our dishes can be customized to your preference.

Somos originalmente de Michoacán, Mexico, de un rancho con poca población. Es un restaurante familiar que comenzó con un sueño hecho realidad. Sin la experiencia adecuada- solo con muchas ganas de triunfar. Gracias ala fuerza, sacrificio, y dedicación!
Más que nada a Dios. Sin el no podíamos estar aquí dándoles lo mejor de nosotros.
Empezamos con un nombre llamado- el Burrito Express, en el año 2005. Con una familia de 3 y terminamos de familia de 5.
Después del año 2006, empezamos con el nombre El Maguey. Y hasta ahora lo seguimos haciendo gracias a el apoyo de la gente que a estados en las buenas y malas. También gracias a las malas experiencias- nos a ayudado ser mejores. Sin ellos no somos nada.
Siempre hemos querido darles un servicio familiar; sentirse como en casa. Porque mi casa es tu casa. Y Cómo en casa todo es hecho día a día; fresco y sabroso. Nuestros platillos hechos ala orden.
Nuestro sueño es el sueño de usted! Si nosotros lo logramos tu también puedes.
